Far-sighted consolidation

"We faced a complex task. Firstly, the company hoped to consolidate two equally large sites, each with around 300 telephones, various telephone systems and network products. Secondly, we wanted to integrate an ACD (automatic call distribution) solution into the telecoms landscape to replace the existing DECT solution."
Ulrich Falke, Head of IT Services at Hamm Reno Group GmbH, is still very satisfied with the implementation of the IP Dynamics solution one year on.
The internal use of voice over IP (VoIP) has proven to be a cost-efficient and far-sighted decision. Thanks to VoIP, PCs and telephones could be connected using a network socket. Following a series of expansions, the network had gradually reached the limits of its capacity and performance.
Mr Stölken and his expert team developed the basic idea behind this new strategy during the preliminary discussions with Hamm Reno Group GmbH.
"Even after completion of the project, the IP Dynamics team reacts very flexibly and constructively to a wide range of service requests with its efficient ticket system," emphasises U. Falke.
