With a culinary “Eat-the-World-Tour” in the heart of Thuringia, 21 colleagues could convince themselves of the most diverse delicacies and at the same time learn more about the history of Erfurt.
From November 11 to 13, one of the popular IPD events took place again. Once again, there was a lot to experience. The participants arrived in Erfurt on Friday by beautiful weather and could start the weekend with a delicious dinner and lively conversations in the restaurant “Zum alten Schwan”.
The next day, after breakfast, free exploration of the city was the first thing on the agenda. From the historic Krämerbrücke to Erfurt’s old town and Erfurt Cathedral, the colleagues were able to get a good impression of Thuringia’s largest city.
In the early afternoon, the participants then explored the culinary diversity of the city with the “Eat-the-World-Tour”. The three-hour city tour brought participants to six different eateries where they could taste all kinds of different delicacies. The offerings ranged from local specialties to Syrian and Korean food. At the same time, the participants were immersed in the history and culture of the city with the help of the tour guide.
After two eventful days, the colleagues started their journey home happy and well-fed.
