IP Dynamics in the Harz Mountains

IP Dynam­ics’ inter­nal events and activ­i­ties always meet with a lot of approval from our col­leagues. This time, 19 of them met in the Harz moun­tains to spend a week­end together and take the hike up the Brocken moun­tain. The antic­i­pa­tion was high.

After arriv­ing at the Alt­stadtho­tel Ilse­burg on July 29, 2022 and enjoy­ing a sump­tu­ous din­ner and break­fast, they set off on Sat­ur­day morn­ing to con­quer the 12-​kilometer trail. In cloudy but dry weather, a remark­able 850 meters of alti­tude were con­quered. After enjoy­ing con­vivial con­ver­sa­tions and tak­ing lots of pho­tos, the hik­ing group arrived at their des­ti­na­tion just under five hours later and was rewarded with a mag­nif­i­cent view over the Harz Moun­tains.

After enjoy­ing the view suf­fi­ciently, the par­tic­i­pants could then relax in the evening, review the day and set off with the Brock­en­bahn in the direc­tion of Wernigerode, where the well-​deserved refresh­ment was already wait­ing for them.

Finally, on Sun­day, after the excit­ing and event­ful week­end, every­one started their jour­ney home happy and sat­is­fied.
