As an IT specialist for application development, you design and implement software projects according to the needs of customers. In addition to developing complex software solutions, you will systematically narrow down errors in software products, identify and correct them. In addition, you define database structures and carry out target/actual comparisons based on planning data in order to control the achievement of goals. The tasks also include documenting test runs and quality controls carried out as well as training users.
If you enjoy these school subjects and have in-depth knowledge, you have good prerequisites for training as an IT specialist for application development. In general, you should have good oral and written language skills with a strong understanding of the text in order to convey a confident impression in customer contact, but also to be able to create software manuals without errors, for example.
