What exactly does an IT Systems Management Assistant do?

As an IT Systems Specialist, you design and implement IT system solutions, meeting highly specific customer needs. You conduct market research, marketing, and advertising activities, analyze customer requirements, and advise customers on purchasing IT products. Furthermore, you train customers on how to use new systems, calculate and prepare quotes, and develop program sequences within IT systems.

During block instruction, you acquire the specialized foundation for your training – from technical fundamentals to business management principles. Theory and practice are seamlessly integrated.

Hands-on experience within the company

You'll apply your knowledge directly within the company and take on responsibility from day one. Working alongside your team, you'll tackle various projects and gain valuable experience.

  • You support us with exciting (major) projects in the telecommunications sector with current technology relevance
  • Together as a team, you develop concepts, participate in system implementations and support customers in servicing and operating the solutions
  • You take care of the interfaces between processes and combine individual systems together
  • You acquire knowledge and skills in the areas of information and data processing systems
  • You handle service requests (solving technical problems both internally with colleagues and externally with our customers)
  • You support business and service processes and are jointly responsible for system security

These Skills we're looking for.

If you enjoy these school subjects and possess in-depth knowledge, you'll have a strong foundation for training as an IT specialist for application development. Generally, you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent reading comprehension, to make a confident impression when interacting with customers, but also, for example, to be able to create error-free software manuals.
