What exactly does an IT Systems Management Assistant do?

As an IT Systems Specialist, you design and implement IT system solutions, meeting highly specific customer needs. You conduct market research, marketing, and advertising activities, analyze customer requirements, and advise customers on purchasing IT products. Furthermore, you train customers on how to use new systems, calculate and prepare quotes, and develop program sequences within IT systems.

Hands-on experience within the company

You'll apply your knowledge directly within the company and take on responsibility from day one. Working alongside your team, you'll tackle various projects and gain valuable experience.

You obtain offers and check the content of them
You calculate sales offers
You take care of license maintenance in the ERP system (NAV)
You carry out requirement analyses with regard to customer requirements
You create an initial concept (compiling a solution description including initial sketches, module and part descriptions, calculation, etc.)
You give presentations and attend customer meetings
You are actively involved in trade fair appearances
You support the project teams

If you enjoy these school subjects and possess in-depth knowledge, you'll have a strong foundation for training as an IT specialist for application development. Generally, you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent reading comprehension, to make a confident impression when interacting with customers, but also, for example, to be able to create error-free software manuals.
