All signs point to Microsoft Teams

Founded in 1928, the Andreas Schmid Group is a family-run medium-sized company based in Gersthofen, Bavaria. The company employs around 1,600 people. Until now, the company has used an old telephone system and a contact center platform. Based on the end-of-live system software service, the company decided to find an alternative to its previous solution. IP Dynamics' offer to replace the previous contact center with a Voxtron Communication Center (VCC) and connect Microsoft Teams as a universal communication solution quickly convinced the logistics company.

Together, the two companies developed a detailed project plan that defines all steps for implementation. It was important for this project that the continuous operation of the contact center was maintained at all times. After IP Dynamics created the technical conditions for smooth migration, Andreas Schmid was able to independently migrate and launch the solution. In addition, as part of the change process, individual employees of the company were trained by an experienced trainer from IP Dynamics, who then passed on their knowledge to colleagues.

Since the changeover, all employees of the Andreas Schmid Group have been using Microsoft Teams as a uniform telephone solution — both for contact center communication and all other internal and external calls. The new communication solution made it possible to work from anywhere and to make everyday work flexible. Furthermore, the company can adapt and scale the solution at any time. Christian Treml, IT project manager at Andreas Schmid Logistik AG, is impressed: “It has great added value for our colleagues, now one Being able to use the system for everything. ”
