During a culinary “eat-the-world tour” in the heart of Thuringia, 21 colleagues were able to see for themselves a wide variety of delicacies and at the same time learn more about the history of Erfurt.

From November 11 to 13, one of the popular IPD events took place again. There was a lot to experience this time too. In good weather, the participants traveled to Erfurt on Friday and were able to start the weekend at the “Zum alten Swan” restaurant with a hearty dinner and lively conversations.

The next day, after breakfast, the first thing on the agenda was to explore the city freely. From the historic Krämerbrücke across Erfurt's Old Town to Erfurt Cathedral, colleagues were able to get a good picture of Thuringia's largest city.

In the early afternoon, the participants explored the culinary diversity of the city with the “Eat-the-World Tour.” The Three-Hour City Tour attracted visitors to six different restaurants, where there were all sorts of different delicacies to taste. The offerings ranged from local specialities to Syrian and Korean delicacies. In addition, participants immersed themselves in the history and culture of the city with the help of the tour guide.

After two eventful days, the colleagues set off on their journey home happy and well satisfied.
