IP Dynamics receives C5 attestation for Dynamic Workload
IP Dynamics has received the BSI C5 Type 1 attestation for Dynamic Workload, confirming the highest level of security for its cloud solution.
IP Dynamics GmbH has received the C5 Type 1 attestation for its Dynamic Workload cloud solution, based on the "Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue" (C5) from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The independent audit was conducted by the auditing firm PwC. Dynamic Workload is operated within the German Sovereign Cloud of IP Dynamics, ensuring it is subject to German law and data sovereignty.
The C5 criteria catalogue defines minimum requirements for the information security of cloud services and has established itself as the definitive standard for cloud security in Germany. The catalogue covers requirements in areas such as encryption, identity and access management, physical data center security, and emergency management.
This is particularly relevant for regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, and public administration. The Type 1 attestation confirms that the security measures implemented by Dynamic Workload meet the catalogue's requirements. As a next step, IP Dynamics is working toward the C5 Type 2 attestation.
"Our clients in the insurance industry and the public sector are facing growing regulatory requirements, from DORA and the EU AI Act to BaFin guidelines," says Christian Stölken, CEO of IP Dynamics GmbH. "With the C5 attestation for Dynamic Workload, we provide them with robust, independently verified proof of the security of our cloud solution."
Further information on the C5 criteria catalogue can be found on the website of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
