15 sporty colleagues, 50 kilometers on the Rhine and a flat tire: The autumn bike tour to Koblenz was the last employee event of the year — and is guaranteed to be remembered as a shared experience.

An autumn bike tour as the last employee event this year? Sounds great — and that was it! A total of 15 sports-loving colleagues made their way to Rhineland-Palatinate from the various IP Dynamics locations on the penultimate weekend in October. The destination was the beautiful city of Koblenz.

Arrive, get to know each other, spend time together

The first evening began with a joint dinner, during which old acquaintances were refreshed as well as new contacts were made. A highlight was the subsequent visit to a small bar, where cards were played in a relaxed atmosphere and told a lot. The weekend together was thus started with a cheerful atmosphere.

Autumn weather, exercise and a good mood

The actual experience began the following morning. After picking up the bikes, the tour began from Koblenz along the banks of the Rhine to the Rheinschleife in Boppard. In dry autumn weather, the sporting colleagues covered a total of around 50 kilometers. But what would a bike tour be without a little adventure? A flat tire was also part of it. Fortunately, a nearby bike shop was able to repair the defect directly so that the journey could continue with only a short delay.

Once in Boppard, the team took a well-deserved 1 1/2 hour break, which everyone could arrange individually. Some went to a restaurant for a hearty lunch, others went to a nearby café for a hot drink. Everyone then set off on the return journey stronger, this time on the other side of the Rhine. The first rain set in just before the finish line. But even that could not suppress the good mood. After around five hours, all colleagues arrived at the hotel happy and full of impressions.
