Top soccer in Bad Oldesloe

In the first round of the prominent competition, VfL Wolfsburg will face Union Berlin, while RB Leipzig will have to take on FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV will face the alleged underdogs of SV Eichede. We're not talking about the DFB-Pokal here, but about International Sparkasse Holstein Cup, which will be held on June 1 and 2 at VfL Oldesloe's Travestadion. Eight international clubs, eleven Bundesliga clubs and nine regional teams are sending their e-youth teams. In view of the impressive field of participants, national coach Joachim Löw ennobled last year's edition of the tournament as a “top-class youth club.”
