Georgios Katsaros works in sales at the Hanover location. In an interview, he explains everything he has experienced so far and how he found his way to us.

“I feel very comfortable here. You get a lot of support from colleagues when you need help or don't know something. Thanks to them, I found my way into the job so quickly. ”

What was your career so far?

In 2016, I completed my training as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk with the option to take over. However, since I wanted to go to university, I then went on to get my baccalaureate. Meanwhile, in addition to school, I worked on the subway to plan the delivery routes on Saturdays and earned something extra. When I had my baccalaureate in my pocket, I went to Hanover University of Applied Sciences and started studying business administration. However, I quickly realized that I lacked too much of a connection to practice and I then decided to drop out of my studies and reorient myself. I then started working for a company in the event industry. There I was the first point of contact for all contractual matters and presented and sold various party concepts at clubs. Meanwhile, due to overtime reductions and vacation, I still had enough time to successfully complete my full time economics specialist in 2020. But then Corona hit and the event industry collapsed sharply, so I had to reorient myself again.

How did you find out about IP Dynamics?

Through a staffing agency. I found the offer interesting and the interviews went very well. Since I can identify more with “smaller” companies in general, I also canceled Toyota and opted for IPD.

What does your area of responsibility look like?

I'm basically the first point of contact in sales. I look after our existing customers, answer individual questions and requests and make sure that everyone feels comfortable with us. In the best case scenario, I can then extend or expand existing contracts and deepen cooperation.

What has been your biggest challenge with IPD so far and how did you overcome it?

Since I don't come from the IT sector, I only joined IPD with the sales component — I had to learn the technical part first. It was a challenge for me to learn terms that I had not had any contact with before. In order to get into the topic better, I wrote down all the important information and made myself a big cheater that I still look at today when I don't know something and I have to say it works really well. IP Dynamics is therefore also a good option for people from outside the industry who are ambitious.

How do you like the corporate culture?

I feel very comfortable here. You get a lot of support from colleagues when you need help or don't know something. Thanks to them, I found my way into the job so quickly.

What makes IP Dynamics unique for you as an employer?

I feel valued and communication with each other is very good. I also like the monthly meetings with all colleagues, in which the latest developments relating to the company are transparently shared. In this way, you always stay up to date and you also notice that IPD is a company with clear goals. Last but not least, I also really appreciate the fact that independent action is promoted. On the one hand, you can develop yourself and implement your own ideas, but on the other hand, it also shows the trust that is placed in you.

Thank you very much for the interview.
