Supporting climate protection effectively

As a future-oriented IT company, IP Dynamics recognizes the dangers posed by climate change. Even more, the company understands that everyone must do their part to curb the dangers and live up to their responsibility towards the planet and future generations. IP Dynamics takes on this responsibility in the form of a comprehensive sustainability concept. With optimizations, alternatives and savings, a contribution should be made to minimize CO2 emissions and make everyday working life sustainable.

As a first step, the following measures are therefore implemented:

1. Optimized data centers

‍Thanks to technical colleagues, IP Dynamics was able to significantly reduce the power consumption of its data centers. In just two weeks, the servers were compacted and reconfigured in such a way that electricity savings of 22% were achieved. This corresponds to the typical consumption of three single-family homes, each with three people. IP also plans to identify further optimization measures in the future and implement them promptly.

2. E-mobility

‍The car, of course, plays a major role in saving CO2. The vehicle fleet is gradually being converted to electric vehicles and made available to employees as company cars and for business trips.

3. Renewable energy

‍In addition to energy savings, it is important that the electricity that is purchased is sustainable. That is why IP Dynamics will rely on sustainable green electricity at all locations in the future.

4. Eco-friendly business trips

‍IPD sees another opportunity to save CO2 in the travel behavior of employees. For this reason, business trips within the DACH region are no longer taken by plane, but preferably by train or — if necessary — by car.

5. Digital instead of paper

‍There are many contracts and invoices in everyday working life. In order to save paper and thus counteract deforestation, employees digitize all this information and process it further there. To support this, the company relies on solutions such as Confuzio.

6. Virtual Christmas greetings

‍Last year, IP Dynamics decided to refrain from traditional Christmas cards and conventional gifts to customers and partners and send virtual Christmas greetings instead. In addition, the money saved as a result (and more) was donated to the association Mandelzweig Project Aid eV donated to support the construction and furnishing of a tea house. From there, projects to promote human rights, fair trade and intercultural communication are initiated and coordinated. IPD will continue to choose this path in the future.

7. Sustainable giveaways

‍Giveaways are mass-produced goods. Quickly plugged in at an event, they often end up back in the trash can a short time later. In addition, many “goodies” consist of plastic or other environmentally harmful substances. This is exactly where IP Dynamics comes in. On the one hand, new giveaways are intended to create real added value by giving away durable and reusable items, such as reusable drinking cups or jute bags. On the other hand, they should consist of sustainable materials so as not to unnecessarily pollute the environment.

8. Sustainable benefits

‍Employee benefits are also becoming ecological. With a public transport subsidy and the opportunity to lease a business bike on favorable terms, IPD offers attractive alternatives to Auto.IP Dynamics is constantly working to develop new concepts and become more sustainable in order to create a perspective for the future together.
